OVERVIEW
Welcome to the TechArts Performing Arts Day Camp, where creativity knows no bounds! Over the course of five exciting weeks, our campers will immerse themselves in the world of performing arts, honing their skills in voice, acting, dance, and bringing it all together for a dazzling final musical performance.

Our Performing Arts Day Camp not only builds artistic skills but fosters collaboration, confidence, and a love for the stage. Join us for a transformative journey where creativity takes center stage!

FINAL PERFORMANCE
At the end of the 5-week camp, the learners will put on a full-scale Broadway-style musical production (over two weekends) open to family, friends, and the general public.

By the end of this course, learners will…

• Voice Mastery:

  • Develop a foundational understanding of vocal techniques.

  • Discover and expand individual vocal ranges.

  • Gain confidence in solo and group singing performances.

• Acting Skills:

  • Learn fundamental acting principles and methods.

  • Enhance emotional expressiveness and character development.

  • Apply acting techniques to scripted scenes and improvisation.

• Dance Proficiency:

  • Acquire basic dance skills across various styles.

  • Participate in collaborative choreography projects.

  • Develop a sense of rhythm, coordination, and stage presence.

• Integration of Performing Arts:

  • Explore the synergy between voice, acting, and dance.

  • Engage in ensemble exercises to enhance group dynamics.

  • Collaboratively create and perform scenes with integrated elements.

• Stagecraft and Rehearsal Techniques:

  • Understand the behind-the-scenes aspects of stage performance.

  • Develop effective rehearsal strategies for solo and group performances.

  • Gain experience in full dress rehearsals and stage production.

• Final Performance Preparation:

  • Participate in a full dress rehearsal with costumes and props.

  • Refine and polish individual and group performances.

  • Prepare for the grand finale musical showcase.

• Confidence and Stage Presence:

  • Build self-confidence through regular individual and group performances.

  • Develop stage presence and audience engagement skills.

  • Receive constructive feedback to improve performance skills.
